About
TravHost is a collaboration between two leading and respected travel media professionals, Fiona Harper and Carolyne Jasinski.
Between these two travel media maestros, they have more than 50 years experience in the travel media industry. They have participated in thousands of press trips, both as media participants and hosts.
Fiona and Carolyne bring to the table a unique insight into what makes a successful media famil which in turn generates worldwide media coverage. As experienced travel professionals, they know how to get behind the scenes to give participants a unique perspective.
Together, they are supported by a team of equally well respected tour hosts. Each host brings travel experience as journalists and PR professionals who each have scores of media hosting and travel industry credentials beneath their well-travelled shoes.
Fiona Harper
Fiona Harper is an experienced travel journalist and tour host. She has more than 20yrs experience as a travel writer, content creator, author, digital editor and photographer.
As well as running a successful writing business, MiTribe Media, an online photography store, MiTribe.shop, and a consumer travel site Travel Boating Lifestyle, Fiona hosts media famils for tourism boards, destination marketers and travel operators. In her spare time she runs marathons or pedals off on multi-day cycle rides.
She has participated in countless press trips on all seven continents, has hosted media famils and led tours in Australia and Asia. These famils have generated stories and images published in high-circulation publications around the globe.
Fiona has authored three boating destination guide books, creates content for international brands and has bylines in magazines, newspapers and websites globally. She’s a regular reporter for Travel Writers Radio.

Carolyne Jasinski
Carolyne Jasinski is a media specialist with decades of experience and hundreds of media famils under her travel writing and hosting belt.
She runs Footloose & Fancy Freelance, a successful travel and lifestyle writing and editing business.
“The world is at your feet” is her motto and she has followed those feet to some amazing places around the world.
As a journalist, photographer and podcaster, Carolyne has captured those destinations in words, images, inspiring others to follow in her footsteps … or warning them to tread carefully. Her work has been published in print, online and broadcast all over the world.
As a famil coordinator, she has created itineraries for state tourism offices (STOs).
As a media host, she has taken all that inspiration for finding great stories and channelled it into those under her care.
Carolyne leads the way so that journalists can focus on content and get the best results.
